Taking Flight
Liberty Wildlife is an organization dedicated to conservation, environmental education, and wildlife rehabilitation. The LEED Platinum site includes a cistern for recycling rainwater, recycled exterior materials, solar power, and natural lighting.
The organization itself strives to experiment solutions to help wildlife in the area. This includes donating bird feathers to prevent their sale on the black market and redistributing power lines to prevent the death of birds.
What would have otherwise been a barren gravel site, holds a powerful site for preserving nature and wildlife in the Southwest.
