hualapai sports complex
The new 14.2 acre sports complex was meticulously planned to accommodate a diverse array of activities: (2) baseball fields, (1) soccer field, (2) basketball courts, (6) horseshoe pits (all courts and horseshoe pits with lighting and bleachers), a playground and tot-lot with shade, splash pad, skate park, fitness circuit looping around the park with areas for fitness equipment stations and a concessions and restrooms building. The ceremonial plaza is designed with a mosaic pattern of the Hualapai seal near the entrance and is surrounded by a trellis for Tribal ceremonies. The landscape consists largely of native grasses on the perimeter, lawn for play with shade trees and culturally significant plants.
