The Park Central Mall Redevelopment project was an important step in the revitalization of the historic 1957 Central Phoenix mall and mid-town Central Avenue. This initial redevelopment project set the architectural and landscape architectural character of the 64-acre property and subsequent developments, combining its rich mid-century-modern history with a focus on technology, innovation, and design, including all the most sought-after features in today’s office and retail market. The initial phase provided high-quality leasable retail and light industrial office space, celebrating the Mid-century Modern history of the building and has spurred major development on the site.  A large steel shade structure and sign located at the property entrance provided a stronger presence on Central Avenue. The Paseo delivers shady pedestrian-oriented links between tenants, collaborative break out spaces and is activated with an interactive water feature, yoga or flexible event lawn, firepit and areas to socialize around food and drink.
