Scottsdale’s Museum of the West is the third cultural attraction to open up in Scottsdale, costing over $11 million. The museum holds all sorts of old west memorabilia, art,  artifacts, and depictions. The new museum is expected to become a major tourist attraction; as a recent survey revealed that western culture is a sight that over 40% of Scottsdale visitors want more of. The museum features people such as Sandra Day O’Connor, Lewis and Clark, Billy the Kid, and even Bill Gates. There is also art from prominent painters such as Georgia O’Keefe, Charles M. Russell, and Fritz Scholder featuring Sedona and the Grand Canyon.
