Dot Garden

DOT GARDEN

A mixed-use office located in downtown Scottsdale has a small wedge courtyard along the street for staff and guests to interact with the active street environment. Reminiscent of "Barragan's liquid silence", a small water feature is strategically located in the cantilevered seat wall. A raised slot planter planted with Horsetail Reed creates a bookend to the courtyard as well as a textured green wall as guests enter the garden. Golden barrels of varying widths and a single lime-colored tree dot the landscape planting bed snuggled beneath the cantilever seat wall.
