Allison Colwell is a founding partner of COLWELL SHELOR, a collaborative landscape architecture and urban design practice based in Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to the creation of meaningful, vibrant environments and landscapes that deeply reference the cultural and ecological requisites of site. Ms. Colwell, together with her design partner, is responsible for shaping Colwell Shelor as a leader in design excellence and sustainability in landscape architecture; her work demonstrates a passionate commitment to environmentally responsible design. With over 21 years of professional experience on projects of varying scale and complexity, she has led the design on many of the most imaginative and technically challenging projects in the state.

Ms. Colwell holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon. She currently serves as past chair for Scottsdale Public Art Advisory Board, is an active member of the Scottsdale Arts Board of Trustees, Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus Pine Council, the American Society of Landscape Architects, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Ms. Colwell is both a registered architect and landscape architect.
