Allison Colwell is a founding partner of Colwell Shelor.  Allison, together with her design partner, is responsible for shaping Colwell Shelor as a leader in design excellence and sustainability in landscape architecture. With over 16 years of professional experience on projects of varying scale and complexity, Allison has led the design on many of the most imaginative and technically challenging projects in the state.

Allison holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon.  She currently serves as vice-chair for Scottsdale Public Art Advisory Board, is an active member of Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus Pine Council, the American Society of Landscape Architects, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.  Allison is both a registered architect and landscape architect.

The firm’s project awards include AZASLA Awards of Excellence, AZASLA Honor Awards for Design, and Arizona Forward Association Environmental Excellence Awards.  In her free time, Allison enjoys camping, hiking and time with family.
